Tall tale geekiness

As much as I say that I hate sparkly vampires, I still have the estranged heart of a love thwarted 14 yr old girl beating desperately inside, and I claim the guilty pleasure of “Twilight”.  There, I said it, and I’m won’t take it back. No matter how much you tease and torment I will hold my head high; no matter how often you glance at me with incredulity upon your face, I will stand firm. That being said, I’m not sure if I’m going to “pay” to see the latest installation in the Twilight film series, especially since I’ve never read them.

I’m in high anticipation of “Snow White and the Huntsman.”  Who doesn’t love a modern rendition of Grimm fairytale, and the trailer looks yummy. I know, I know, The Brothers Grimm was disappointing to say the least, but it had a few moments of redemption.  Kristen appears to be playing a much stronger female role, which I prefer.  Charlize Theron, whom I truly love to watch, especially in the spots for Dior’s J’adore, is playing the Evil Queen and I’m looking forward to her performance.  I love the melting Mirror, Mirror, btw.

Tell me what you think.  Take a look, and tell me if you plan on giving Snow White a chance?

Ciao bella!

  1. I think it looks great. Looking very forward to it, but then Snow White has always held a lot of appeal to me, after I spent so many years with those dwarves I know and love.

    Hi ho, hi ho…
